Summer rolls around and everyone is all like: GRILL GRILL GRILL!!!!!!!! Well guess what? Not everyone has a grill. Some people live in apartments. Others are scared of them. What, we can't have a steak? Here is a delicious option for you: Bloody Good Steak. This recipe makes use of balsamic vinegar, which does double duty as a marinade that softens the muscle fibers of the meat and adds tremendous flavor. The addition of smashed pepper gives it extra bite. Hit the cast iron baby. Go. 

Bloody Good Steak by connoisseur

Serves 3 to 4

1 slab of flank steak
2 tablespoons black peppercorns
Extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt
Real balsamic vinegar
