The Great American Salad Bar Project

As much as we love chocolate and cheese here at food52, we know the importance of wholesome foods. That's why we were thrilled to learn about a new partnership that's promoting healthy habits at a young age.

Whole Foods has teamed up with TheLunchBox.org to launch the Great American Salad Bar Project. With the help of Whole Foods shopper donations, the organization has already secured close to $700,000 -- that's enough to put salad bars in 271 schools!

Shop the Story

If you live within 50 miles of a Whole Foods Market, your school is eligible for a salad starter kit. Click here to submit an application (open now through November 1st), and help empower your children to make their own healthy choices.
