Coconut Spiced Sweet Potato Casserole  Homemade Green Bean Casserole

Any food52 member is welcome to help us test our Editors' Pick candidates, so go call dibs on the recipe you'd like to test in the comments section below! We'd love to see some new testers in the mix. Don't forget to email us your notes (about 100 words) to [email protected] by next Tuesday at 5pm.

We'll collect your comments, decide the official list of Editors' Picks and publish your evaluation in the headnote if the recipe is selected as an Editors' Pick (with credit, of course!). And even if the recipe you test isn't chosen as an Editors' Pick, please feel free to leave your testing notes in the recipe's comments section. Constructive criticism is always encouraged!

Just had a blonde moment, as I see luvcookbooks already requested it. Fiveandspice, might I do the potato gratin? (The few remaining recipes aren't possible -- I live in a land of relatively few root vegetables.)

For sure! Go for it!

Warm Wild Rice Salad, please.

drbabs November 26, 2010
I was waiting to see if anyone else jumped in. I'll try the coconut spiced sweet potato casserole.

fiveandspice November 26, 2010
I'd be happy to test the potato and mushroom gratin!

fiveandspice November 26, 2010
But if someone who hasn't had a chance to test something yet would like to take it, I'm also open to giving it up :). (Though it looks delicious and I'll be making it anyway!)

vrunka November 26, 2010
I'd love to try out the Sweet Potato Kibbeh.

cheese1227 November 25, 2010
I'd love to try the
Browned Crispy Spaetzle with Caramelized Shallots and Mushrooms

But TiggyBee, is the amount of Gruyere right in the recipe as written right now? It says three cups but by the looks of the picture, I'm wondering if you mean 3 T?

TiggyBee November 26, 2010
Sorry for the late reply, just was able to log back in! I made this dish for 6 of us and I did grate 3 cups, some of us wanted more and some less, so I hope that explains it. Also, when I took the photo, I only sprinkled a smaller amount on that plate, so the details of the shallots and mushrooms weren't obscured.
Thanks so much for testing it, I hope you enjoy it!! : )

Jennine November 25, 2010
I would love to try the Warm Chanterelle Salad with Escarole and Pecorino Romano. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

AppleAnnie November 25, 2010
Ginger Shallot Broccol please! I already have the broccoli, intended for a healthier Thanksgiving dinner, but it didn't make it on to the menu in the end.

sadie_crandle November 25, 2010
Dibs on the Glazed onions with Honey and Sherry. I really wanted the Caramelized Onion Pudding, so if we're allowed to double up, please let us know!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Food52 November 26, 2010
Hi there -- actually, we've already tested the Glazed Onions and they were great! And for now we're still sticking with one recipe per tester and vice versa -- but please do leave your notes in the recipes' comments sections if you end up making them. Anything else you'd like to test?

justthefood November 25, 2010
I'd love to test out the Kale Gratin.
We normally don't eat our Kale that way so it's intriguing.

cookinginvictoria November 25, 2010
I would love to make Carmelized Onion Pudding. Sounds divine!

gingerroot November 25, 2010
I would love to try Curried Kabocha and Kale, thank you. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

One of my favorite vegetables. I'll take the Perfect Brussells Sprounts.

cbear1984 November 25, 2010
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

May I call dibs on Simple Brussel Sprouts by the Internet Cooking Princess? This will be my first time doing an editor's pick!

Welcome! And yes, it's all yours
