Once again, we want to give a big thanks to all of our volunteer recipe testers for your thoughtful comments and for helping us continue to strengthen our recipe recommendations. You can read the winning headnote and tester's comments by clicking through to the Community Picks recipes—the comments are at the top. And even if the recipe you tested wasn't chosen as a CP, please feel free to leave your testing notes in the recipe's comments section. Constructive criticism is always encouraged!

Considering how many recipes were on the list for testing, the Community Picks are pretty slim this time. How come? My gratin has been saved by community members untold numbers of times - just since the contest. Just an observation...

hi chefjune—thanks for commenting. we try to have the same number of community picks week to week, but ultimately the number of community picks comes down to the feedback (and the amount of feedback) we receive from recipe testers. i'm glad your gratin is getting some attention! it looks really good (i love a super-rich potato gratin). hope this helps!
