Made these for dessert this evening, but used cherries and blackberries instead of raspberries. The custard is off the hook! SO creamy and silky. Tastes like a decadent pastry cream on steroid. Broiling it and adding the sugar to it to creme brulee levels. So good. Going in the permanent file. Came together in less than 15 minutes.
