And the Winner is...

Last night we celebrated the conclusion of The Bib: Tournament of Restaurants. After 15 rounds of intense decisions by our judges we had a winner. But first a party co-hosted by Eater and Food52 at LTO on the Lower East Side -- some 250 people crowded in for cocktails and fried pork rinds by Ma Peche and scallops by Kin Shop. At the end of the evening, the awards ceremony began. The People's Choice Award went to Rubirosa. Andy Borowitz, the judge of the final round -- Torrisi vs. Marea -- announced his choice for the winner of The Bib in these videos (courtesy of Amanda's iPhone, which is why it's cut into 6 short parts). What fun the whole process was to follow. I'm ashamed to say I'd never heard of Andy Borowitz before reading his review this morning. I think I'm going to start stalking him. Thank you for splashing him across food52.
