Every week, chef/activist Daniel Klein and cameragirl Mirra Fine of The Perennial Plate are sharing the videos and recipes from their cross-country real food road trip with us.

Look closely and you'll see the woodsy little nuggets Daniel and Mirra turn up under the guidance of Langdon Cook, a self-proclaimed "21st Century Forager". What's more, their morels are destined for a pasta (in their case) eaten on a rock looking out on a lake -- it doesn't get much better than that, does it?

I love mushroom foraging! I have to confess I'm a bigger fan of the fall mushrooms like chanterelles, hedgehogs, and bear's head, though.
