J Bar L Ranch  J Bar L Ranch

Every week, chef/activist Daniel Klein and cameragirl Mirra Fine of The Perennial Plate are sharing the videos and recipes from their cross-country real food road trip with us.

This week, Daniel and Mirra visit J Bar L Ranch in Montana, where they hang out with some sensitive cattle ranchers who are raising happy grass-fed cows.

We invite all farms to list themselves and their products for free on HomeGrownCow.com It's a great way to increase their marketing and expand their customer base...and did I mention it's FREE! Check it out: www.homegrowncow.com

What a lovely story. One taste of grass-fed, gently-raised beef, and there was no going back. My friends the Agnews also raise grass-fed, alfalfa-finished beef not far from me, out south of Big Timber. The story of their ranch is as interesting as they are: http://site.agnewranch.com/Home.html
