Serious Eats Book

What's black and white and eaten all over? Well, Serious Eats: A Comprehensive Guide to Making and Eating Delicious Food Wherever You Are, of course. Serious Eats's book practically shares a birthday with The Food52 Cookbook (born just over a week ago today) and, like ours, is the site's first cookbook.

So, what's inside? Each chapter takes as its focus different foods that are at the heart of Serious Eats. Like you do on the site, you can eat your way across the USA with their travel guide-cum-cookbook, sampling the very best pizza, burgers, and sweets (and even a salad or two) this country has to offer -- with recipes inspired by local joints but developed in house.

This week, Amanda and Merrill will each share a favorite recipe from the book. Watch for them Thursday and Friday!

How about a group photo of the FOOD52 team: maybe slaving over a hot computer trying to put out the fires over the past month? Or just your smiling faces, or sneak peeks of what munchies you have at your desk...
