Curried Crab Bites  Salmon and Avocado Toast

Any Food52 member is welcome to help us test our Community Pick candidates, so go call dibs on the recipe you'd like to test in the comments section below! We'd love to see some new testers in the mix. Don't forget to email us your notes (about 100 words) to editors@food52.com by next Tuesday at 5pm (EST).

We'll collect your comments, decide the official list of Community Picks and publish your evaluation in the headnote if the recipe is selected as an Community Pick (with credit, of course!). And even if the recipe you test isn't chosen as an Community Pick, please feel free to leave your testing notes in the recipe's comments section. Constructive criticism is always encouraged!

Kristy and testkitchenette: I am very sorry, didn’t check for a few hours the blog and made already the Anchovy Fretters and even took pictures. What should I do?

I'll take the anchovy fritters if they are still up for grabs.

Hi testkitchenette! I am very sorry, didn’t check for a few hours the blog and made already the Anchovy Fretters and even took pictures. If you are OK with this and didn’t start making the batter for the Fretters, I can write the review notes. I apologize. Please answer me. Kukla.

No worries...I haven't made them yet! Did you like them?

Yes testkitchenette, I did like them. The fretters are very light and although the batter is porous, they don’t absorb a lot of the frying oil and keep fresh even after a couple of hours. Thank you for answering and being so nice. Happy Holidays!

We've still got two recipes up for grabs: Anchovy Fritters and the Warm Prosciutto Figs Cambozola. Anyone want to claim them?

Jampro

Kristy - I will be happy to try the Figs if I can find Cambozola. if i can't find the cheese, would the editors accept me concocting a triple creme and gorgonzola mixture? Please advise.
