We knew we liked meganvt01 as soon as we read that she gets made fun of over her obsession with food. Join the club!

We’re thankful over here for meganvt01’s obsession, and we’re sure her husband and one-year-old are too -- as she tells us, she finally has her evenings free to cook up a storm for her “adventurous eaters and supportive tasters.”  A productive obsession. We like that. And we like the fruits of her labor, too. Meganvt01’s technique and creativity make for some awfully good recipes -- recipes that we, well, are obsessing over.

In fact, you could throw a killer holiday cocktail party solely from meganvt01’s cache of dishes. First, have your guests snack on Marie’s Roasted Almonds and Mom’s Mexican Dip, then pass around some Salmon Tartar on Sweet Potato Chip and Ricotta Crostini with Roasted Fennel. Next comes the Duck Confit, Pear, and Fennel Bites, served with some Oysters Harry for good measure. No matter what, make sure you top it all off with some Holiday Sparkler (pictured above) -- lots of it. Happy holidays, and cheers!
