Grapefruit Curd Squares with Candied Rosemary Chocolate Tangerine Curd

Any Food52 member is welcome to help us test our Community Pick candidates, so go call dibs on the recipe you'd like to test in the comments section below! We'd love to see some new testers in the mix. Don't forget to email us your notes (about 100 words) to [email protected] by next Tuesday at 5pm (EST).

We'll collect your comments, decide the official list of Community Picks and publish your evaluation in the headnote if the recipe is selected as an Community Pick (with credit, of course!). And even if the recipe you test isn't chosen as an Community Pick, please feel free to leave your testing notes in the recipe's comments section. Constructive criticism is always encouraged!

ChefJune, why dont you make the Masala Lemon soda? See below...

Panfusine January 31, 2012
I'd definitely volunteer to make Masala soda, except, I love the drink so much, It not going to come across as objective!

ChefJune January 31, 2012
Did I miss something food52? did you guys post the Community Picks you tested? I couldn't find them.

Dulcie&Sarah January 30, 2012
I am going to have to bow out of testing the Masala Lemon soda. I tried at failed to find Chaat Masala this weekend... :( So sorry...Devangi, it looks so interesting and tasty!

Congratulations, everyone! Thanks so much for choosing my Meyer lemon rice pudding and caipirinha. Such a lovely surprise!

I thought the entries to this contest were consistently outstanding (last one too) so I'm excited to be on the list with all the highly deserved picks. I've already made a few over the last week -- all winners!

Sagegreen January 26, 2012
Congrats to all the CPNs. Sorry they are all taken. I look forward to trying out lots of these!

TheWimpyVegetarian January 26, 2012
I just got home and am so bummed they're all gone :-( I love citrus, and am going to make some of these this week anyway and just add my comments to the recipes. Congrats to all!

Bevi January 26, 2012
Thanks for the CPN and thank you Tarragon for testing !

Tarragon January 26, 2012
Looks great, Bevi. Hard to resist fennel and raisins!

Kristy M. January 26, 2012
Perfect! All recipes are accounted for! Have fun testing, everyone!

Niknud January 26, 2012
Seriously. I am going to have to start setting an alarm or something. People here are quick. Like ninja-quick. Sigh. I guess I'll just have more time to spend on chili-making. My husband is overjoyed at this week's theme.

This will be my virgin voyage with kumquats, but if it's still available, I'll test the kumquat shaker pie. That said, any advice on discerning a bad kumquat from a bad one.

fiveandspice January 26, 2012
Hi cheese1227, I just called the shaker pie half a second before you, but if you'd like to test it, you can take it! Although, I have no good advice at all about discernig good from bad kumquats!

cheese1227 January 26, 2012
Too late!

fiveandspice January 26, 2012
?

Thanks fiveanspice. But I'll just check in next time. On a different note, are you still in the Boston neighborhood. I am moving to the Portland ME area this summer. I've been lucky enough to have the DC Food52 group not too far down the road. And I am wondering if there is a similiar group up in the Boston area. Yes, I'll still be two hours from Boston, but those are my old stomping grounds so I'd love to make the trek any time, especially if there is the promise of good food and fun.

fiveandspice January 26, 2012
Gotcha! I wasn't sure if you meant too late for testing, or too late for getting help with choosing kumquats! And, yes, there's a crew of us in Boston! We would love to have you come and join us whenever we get together. And some of my best friends (and mind blowingly good cooks) live in Portland! What a great city!!!! You're going to adore it. Amazing food there too, for a small place!

luvcookbooks January 27, 2012
kumquats are squishy if they're bad or dry and shriveledy.

Niknud January 26, 2012
ARGH! I was late again. Bummer. Well, congratulations to everyone and thanks gingerroot for offering to test my recipe! Hope you enjoy it!

fiveandspice January 26, 2012
It looks like HLA's shaker kumquat pie is left, is that right? If so I'd love to test it please! I'm always looking for kumquat ideas. Ok, well not technically always, but right now i am!

hardlikearmour January 26, 2012
Thanks for giving my pie a shot! I hope you like it. Message or e-mail me if you want/need the crust recipe.

hardlikearmour January 26, 2012
I just realized I could make a beverage even while traveling, so I'll take the Meyer Lemon and Thyme Caipirinha.

Beautiful, M. January 26, 2012
Hi, thanks for volunteering to test out my caipirinha. I hope you enjoy it!

Kate W. January 26, 2012
I'd like to test the Pink Grapefruit, Pomegranate, and Mache salad please!

creamtea February 1, 2012
Thanks for volunteering to test my recipe, kate! Hope you like it.

gingerroot January 26, 2012
Congrats to all! I'd love to test Niknud's Supposed to be Conch Ceviche, please. Thank you.

AntoniaJames January 26, 2012
I'll take the "It Takes a Village" Rice Pudding, please. Foraging doesn't get any more local than reaching out your back door to the Meyer lemon tree standing right by it. Thank you. ;o)

Beautiful, M. January 26, 2012
Hi, thanks for choosing my recipe to test! If you need any Meyer lemons, my neighbor's tree still has plenty :)

cgilsbach January 26, 2012
I'll try the orange buttermilk sherbet.

Tarragon January 26, 2012
Fennel slaw, please
