Joe Beef cookbook picks up the Piglet as Alice Waters comes around
The Piglet may not be the biggest award for a cookbook, but it is one of the most prestigious. Now in its third year, The Piglet is awarded to a cookbook that comes out the winner after going through a round-robin of sorts, with some of the food world’s biggest stars judging along the way. In the final round on Feb. 6, Montreal’s very own Fred Morin, David McMillan and Meredith Erickson emerged the victors from among a group of 16.
