Have you ever been nibbling an after-dinner cookie and realized you wanted something a little bit more than just a glass of cold milk? Snooth is right there with you with a guide to the best wines to pair with any cookie you can think of: ginger snaps, biscotti, oatmeal cookies, shortbread...

Would you drink wine with your cookies? Do you have a favorite dessert wine? I love this 2008 Oregon Viognier with simple, good ice cream -- I'll have to try it with cookies.

Mary Cech and Jennie Schacht wrote an indispensible book a few years back: The Winelover's Dessert Book. It's wonderful.

I discovered cookies and wine were a great pairing in Reims, the capital of Champagne country. They have a special cookie that is JUST for Champagne. ;)

Banfi's Brachetto d'Acqui is excellent with Double Chocolate Cookies.
