Spring's Tasty Reads

March 28, 2012

Spring has sprung, and with it have emerged a slew of noteworthy cookbooks. From healthy dinners to indulgent feasts, Charlotte Druckman (our wonderful Piglet co-host!) has picked three cookbooks she's looking forward to cooking from, including Béatrice Peltre's La Tartine Gourmande, Alain Ducasse's Nature: Simple, Healthy and Good, and April Bloomfield's A Girl and Her Pig: Recipes and Stories.

What cookbooks are on your radar?

I'm Laura Loesch-Quintin, a food writer and photographer, as well as the voice behind the recipe blog gourmette•nyc. Originally from Philadelphia, I was raised in a French-American household where vinaigrette, cornichons, and clafoutis were (and still are) staples. When not cooking, writing, or photographing, I can usually be found exploring the food markets of New York City.

This isn't coming out until the fall, but I'm SUPER excited for the Smitten Kitchen Cookbook!
