Remedy Quarterly: Call for Submissions
Food -- cooking it, eating it, growing it, sharing it -- brings stories. Remedy Quarterly, the independent, community-based (and beautiful!) food magazine, wants yours.
Discovery is the theme of their tenth issue, part of Volume 3 (Issues 9-12) now on offer in the FOOD52 Shop. And they're looking to you -- the idea-producing, word-loving, story-sharing FOOD52 community -- to fill it. (And opening up submissions early to FOOD52ers exclusively for this purpose.)
Remedy is hungry for stories, and recipes, that fit with their theme of discovery. But first: shoot them a note by Monday, May 6 at hello@remedyquarterly.com for a chance to be published, with a few sentences about your idea, the recipe you wish to include, and 1-2 writing samples. They'll get back to you by Monday, May 14th with their thoughts -- and your final piece will be due Thursday, May 31. All final submissions should be between 400-1200 words.
Check out Remedy Quarterly's FOOD52 Shop offer here -- your future story may be in it!

Sign up now and get $10 when we open.

This is what Remedy Quarterly has to say: "Unfortunately we can't afford to compensate with hard cash at this point, but we will send you a copy of the issue you're in. Plus we'll be a cheerleader for you and your work."
