In this, the age of food trucks, street food has never been more popular. Alan Batt, famed food photographer, is capitalizing on the popularity and publishing a compendium of "Street Eats" inspired by the hustle and bustle of NYC. Batt shot all over the city -- from Central Park, to Times Square, to the middle of E 63rd street. One scene, which involved an outdoor grill, even elicited a visit from the NYPD.

All proceeds from the book will go toward Action Against Hunger, a global organization dedicated to ending world hunger and malnourishment. Batt says the book is his way of giving back. He will unveil the book at his "Gathering of Great Chefs" on June 5th.
