Announcing The Food52 Cookbook, Volume 2!
We’ve been productive here at FOOD52 ever since we announced our original manifesto. We’ve written a book together; we’ve created a holiday iPad app; we’ve grown into a thriving, eager, and fiercely talented community.
Now, we have yet another accomplishment to announce: The Food52 Cookbook, Volume 2: Seasonal Recipes from Our Kitchens to Yours is now available for preorder on Amazon! It officially hits store shelves November 13, 2012 (with a lovely cover photo by our own James Ransom).
In it is a year’s worth of innovative, creative, and inspiring recipes from you, our FOOD52 community, from Your Best Red Pepper Recipe to Your Best Peach Tart: a year’s worth of hard work, of beautiful photos, of collaboration from cooks around the world. We can’t wait to share it with you!

Do you have any badges for this like you did last year for our blogs?

We're working on this! Thanks for asking. And for anyone who hasn't seen it, we're doing potlucks again for the second book (last year's were amazing!): http://www.food52.com/blog...

YAY! Amanda and Merrill - will you please pretty please include Boston on your book-signing tour this year?

Holding my breath however as a result of the incomplete index of the first volume. I hope that you concentrated on getting that remedied for this volume. I completely re-indexed volume one and was about to send it to you (but had no email I could find on the site) when you released the news of vol 2. Love the new cover design. First cover was excellent as well.

For those wanting a sneak peek, I'll send a copy of the PDF galleys (gallies?) to the individual who bakes me the best bribe. ;-)
(Edible bribes are the best -- you can eat the evidence before Amanda and Merrill catch you!)

Umm.. how about a serving of cherry & amarula muffins? I'm just writing it up for my blog..
anyways
I've already pre ordered the book. The annoying, long hopping on one leg wait is part of the fun of the whole experience..

Ooh. How about your dream-ice-cream-flavor-of-choice? With dream-topping?

Just saw this...what's your pleasure? Would love to see the galleys, and am happy to bake in trade.
(I have chocolate pains d'amande in the freezer waiting for an excuse to slice off and bake some more.....)

Seeing this announcement made my Monday! By the way, are the ingredients on the cover those from Caramelized Butternut Squash Wedges with a Sage Hazelnut Pesto? That's such a killer recipe.

The first volume is already dog eared from overuse. I can't WAIT to see what your second volume has come up with.

Oh, also... will you guys have a release party again? We went last year at City Grit and it was so much fun!
