pierino is a trusted source on General Cooking and Tough Love.

I'm a great fan of the pasta products from Rustichella d'Abruzzo. They still use bronze dies for extruded shapes. This gives their pastas a texture Italians love. As noted, this is a Ligurian pasta shape well suited to pesto in the Genoa style.
