Everyone knows Georgia is for peaches and Maine does a lobster roll like no place else. But where do you get a Grand Ole Goo Goo? How about a Chukar Cherry? NPR is taking a tour around the U.S. to re-discover these small-town candies, and we suddenly feel our sweet tooth aching. Our favorite so far? Kansas City’s Valomilks, a “sweet treat that runs down your chin.” Enough said.
