We mentioned a little something a while back about a certain Guild that stood for small-batch pickling, braising, and producing their way toward a new food system. Today, we want to remind you about their Good Food Awards. (See? We’re not the only ones who love contests.)

If you make really good food -- with really good ingredients, bonus if they’re really local -- then enter for a chance to win eternal bragging rights and watch your products fly off the shelves. No, really, that will happen. Check out their site here for a list of criteria, winner benefits, and their many entry categories. You only have a week left, so enter, and soon, before someone else’s homebrew beats you to it.

I know a place you can submit all of your small-batch recipe ideas, at the very least...

I wish they had a category of membership for people who really love and seek out artisan foods. Those of us who make small batches at home are clearly not eligible, since we aren't (even able to) selling our items.
