First they were rockstars; now they're diplomats. American chefs are now being tapped to help reach out to foreign delegations through the universal language of food.

In a partnership with the James Beard Foundation, the new chef-diplomats might "meet with an embassy, cook a lunch… or speak at events." Dream job, anyone?
