I've never met a cookie made with almond extract I didn't like. Or vanilla extract for that matter. But it turns out I've been wildly conservative -- Tasting Table has found an artisan line called Whole Spice that makes everything from raspberry extract to a bold coffee extract I'm dying to drizzle over ice cream.

The best part? If you've got the patience, the extracts are easy enough to make in your own kitchen. The possibilities are endless! Mint extract, peach extract…what would your mix be?
