Dinner is ready 45 minutes after I say it will be. When in doubt, lemon juice. And always keep prosecco in the house.

Great timing on this post. I've seen them at the Asian farmers' market about this time over the past few years, where they are received and snapped up with great excitement. I've never used them, but just last night was thinking that I'd buy some this week! ;o)

Love 'baer' (as they called in Hindi) this was a childhood favorite at school sold only by the vendors who were shut out by the Sisters at the school convent! These fruits have a lot of associated stories in Hindu Mythology
