It’s a big fall for home cooks. With slews of new cookbook releases, we’ll be cooking -- and stocking our bookshelves -- long after the winter is over. Another book to add to the wish list? CookFight, from New York Times writers Julia Moskin and Kim Severson. Through 12 common challenges that plight the home cook (planning a dinner party or eating more seasonally, for example), they cook their way through 125 recipes and discover the ways in which two different cooking styles approach the kitchen. And they do it competitively.
Who comes out on top? You’ll have to decide for yourself -- or really, just hear both amazing food writers talk about their latest book at this event. Mark your calendars for November 28th, get a ticket, and there’ll be plenty of debate to be had, so be sure to get yourself a good seat.
