The New Frontier: Aquaculture
An affordable, self-contained and sustainable food production system sounds too good to be true. But it isn't, and it's a solution that could positively impact thousands in third-world countries.
A Cape Town initiative uses shipping containers, which are commonly found in the developing world, to house micro-farms for raising fish and making a sustainable profit. The key idea is that the system is easily replicated, so it could be produced and passed on to entrepreneurs almost anywhere.
