If you like it, save it!

Save and organize all of the stuff you love in one place.

Got it!

If you like something…

Click the heart, it's called favoriting. Favorite the stuff you like.

Got it!

It’s like clockwork: right around the time the leaves start to change color, we start seeking solace in our pantries. Warming meals take precedence come evening, and after a long summer hibernation, it’s finally time for our staples to see the light. Rice becomes a regular dinner guest, as do pots of beans, and we’re reminded of the many unsung ingredients hiding in our stores -- the condiments that seem to last forever. (Something, having discovered these, we’re glad for.)

Today’s poem takes the pantry just as seriously as we do. This morning, read through Kevin Young’s Ode to Pepper Vinegar and remember all of those trusty ingredients that have been there for you, just waiting on your shelves. And then, go use them.
