Rubik's Battenburg Cake

I've never solved a Rubik's cube, but at least I can solve this particular puzzle easily: it belongs in my belly. Statsy has a recipe for an iconic toy realized in Battenburg cake form, using a pound of butter, marzipan, a jar of jam and multicolored layers of Victoria sponge cake.

It looks like it took some real effort and patience to create such a colorful masterpiece, but it's worth it when you consider the final product and satisfaction of consuming (and therefore solving) a childhood favorite.

My two (current) favorite foods start with the letter D: doughnuts, and dumplings. If a dish has bacon in it, I will most likely eat it. If I could marry honey butter, I would.
