This question was asked several times on the blog post regarding the potlucks, but not answered: What is the recommended time frame for the parties? I realize we can host them any time, but in light of the fact that gifts will be sent to distribute to guests at the parties, it would be great to know when those are expected to ship/be delivered. Thanks so much. ;o)

Sorry about that! In an ideal world, potlucks would be held between December 4th and New Year's, that way we'd have time to get everyone their deliveries!

I think that might be cutting it too close. Books usually come in early, but always safer to plan on the pub date which is Dec 4. Sorry for the inconvenience, just want to be sure that you get your books!
