Food52 Volume II Badge

If you haven't noticed, we're getting very excited about the launch of The Food52 Cookbook, Volume II. We've got our books pre-ordered; we've got potlucks happening all over the country.

And now, we're debuting The (very official) Food52 Cookbook, Volume II blogger badges.

If you've had any hand in shaping this new cookbook -- if you've submitted a recipe, if you've voted or commented or tweeted, and, of course, if your recipe made it into the book -- you can post this badge on your blog. You helped create something beautiful; time to share it with the world!

To add the badge:

1. Save the image above to your desktop and then upload it to your site.

2. Embed this link so people can order the book! http://ow.ly/eLZeD

I want to add the badge to my blog with the link but in order to add to the sidebar I need the URL for the badge. Do you have that?

This question was asked several times on the blog post regarding the potlucks, but not answered: What is the recommended time frame for the parties? I realize we can host them any time, but in light of the fact that gifts will be sent to distribute to guests at the parties, it would be great to know when those are expected to ship/be delivered. Thanks so much. ;o)

especially given the release date of the book is between so many holidays!

Sorry about that! In an ideal world, potlucks would be held between December 4th and New Year's, that way we'd have time to get everyone their deliveries!

I had planned on Dec 1, is that alright or should I change the date? Do you think that the deliveries could arrive by then?

I think that might be cutting it too close. Books usually come in early, but always safer to plan on the pub date which is Dec 4. Sorry for the inconvenience, just want to be sure that you get your books!

Thanks Amanda, I will plan on having the party after the 4th.
