I grow lots of fennel and I am assuming if you let it flower you get fennel pollen, having bee hives I know there are other ways to collect pollen so I am very curious. But is it from the herb kind of fennel or the bulb kind? I am really interested in this.

Great timing on this as my own "special" challenge recipe employs fennel pollen.

Thanks for posting this. I was intrigued by a recipe posted by GluttonForLife that uses fennel pollen (I had never heard of it as a culinary ingredient before). A combination of honey and anise sounds wonderful.
