Cook Spotlight
aargersi
aargersi is a marketing database manager living in Austin who's responsible for both the winning Nose-to-Tail recipe (Barbacoa Beef Cheek Tacos) and the runner-up in our post-Thanksgiving contest (Thankful for Leftover Turkey Jambalaya). She also happens to be married to La452 (aka Mr L., of tangy, peppercorn-studded Mr. L's Potatoes fame). There is always a devilish sense of humor and a penchant for adventure and whimsy in the recipes aargersi dreams up, like She Sells Sea Shells, Tea Rice and Outside the Box Brownies. She's also of the all-caps and emoticons school of expressive writing, so her recipes read as though she's about to burst out of the computer to share a gardening story or let us in on the fact that she ate most of her Cranberry Tangerine Chutney as soon as she was done making it. Now how often do you see that kind of gusto in a print magazine? Thanks, aargersi, for adding your wonderful voice to the choir that is the food52 community! Check out aargersi's profile page and fan her here.
Read her profile Q&A below:

We have a similar make of floor cleaner, although ours is the "shelter mutt" model. Your beef cheek tacos are on my summer cooking to-do list! Congrats on the well-deserved spotlight! (And awaiting your call for wine consultation whenever...)
