You got me. I was very disappointed. That even looked like a bull not a cow...

Great job, although it would have probably been easier to milk a milk cow rather than a beef cow! :-{} Funny!

Funny video, ladies. Reminded me of milking with my grandfather, who fed the cows, then hobbled their back legs while he milked both to prevent getting himself kicked and preventing the cow from kicking over the milk bucket. That cow had a prodigious pair of horns, and I'm glad she didn't hook you, City Girl!

thanks so much.. as someone who lived through the '60's and macrame and granola.. what's been going on lately with artisanal food etc. is just a little too precious for me.. and I DO support small farmers.. thanks again.. I love this blog..

Finally, April Fool's Day is something to look forward to again. This year you didn't catch me by surprise (as in, What, What?) -- you just started the day off delightfully!

Mom called me first thing this AM and said, "Did you see Food 1852?" which I heard as "Did you see Food A-Team 52?" and replied, "What?! They were on one of those cooking shows that pit teams against each other?" To which Mom said, "They were on tv and I missed it??" and it continued to go downhill from there! We finally began to communicate in the same language and Mom told me to check out the site. TOO FUNNY! I love, love, love the video, although I was a bit stressed Amanda was going to get kicked in the face by Liberty. The chicken scene is my favorite, I think. Great job, ladies, et.al.

Isn't that the cutest? When I woke up this morning I was tired and didn't want to get out of bed to go to work and sit behind a computer! Ha! Your video sure made me think! Happy Spring!

Did this really happen? "Sarah Palin Chokes on Chimichanga". I thought I saw that on the crawl on MSNBC this morning. Apparently Ms. Palin was lunching with Gov. Jan Brewer and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arapaio and they were sharing chimichangas, which happens to be Arizona's Official State Food. Suddenly Palin begins to choke on her fried burrito. Brewer swiftly administers the Heimlich while Arapaio performs mouth to mouth. The offending morsel flies out. Arapaio pulls out his open carry and gun and goes back to the kitchen and shoots the cook. Frontier justice I guess.

Your comment is not funny at all. On this site, we enjoy talking about food, not POLITICS.

Hilarious. Really made my April Fool's morning. Loved the Donner party ref. And Pemmican... my daughter had a class assignment in 3rd grade and had to try to replicate it. It seems to me that it involved peanut butter and bird seed, but I could be wrong. Thanks for the laugh!

Love the "new" home page -- laugh out loud funny and so creative! And what a hilarious video too. My favorite scene is of A&M trying to catch a chicken for dinner before deciding that they will have to settle for cabbage soup instead. Happy April Fool's Day, Food52! :)
