As a defiant response to Sad Desk Lunches, the Food52 team works to keep our midday meals both interesting and pretty -- even if they're eaten while our eyes are on the screen. Each week, we'll be sharing our happiest desk lunches -- and we want to see yours, too.

Today, Jason shares his secrets to a meticulously crafted turkey BLT.

Jason says:
I love sandwiches. Love them! In 2011 I kept a journal rating of every sandwich I ate that year. I ate an average of 1.1 sandwiches a day that year, none more often than a classic BLT. Today I mixed it up a little by adding some sliced turkey and switching out the L(ettuce) for some A(rugula). Salt and pepper on my tomato slices. Not too much mayo and some whole grain bread makes me a happy luncher.
