Today: It's a fact: squash blossoms can make the most beautiful dish even better.
This pizza is beautiful in its own right. With a charred crust, vibrant tomato sauce, and flakes of spicy pepper, it looks like it came right out of a hot brick oven. And karen bianchi, the cook and photographer of this pizza masterpiece, clearly knows something we don't about shaping dough. But what really pushes this pizza over the top is the addition of squash blossoms. Because if there's anything better than looking at pretty flowers, it's eating them.
