Editors' Picks -- Week 48

by:
May 20, 2010

Any food52 member is welcome to help us test our Editors' Pick candidates, so go call dibs on the recipe you'd like to test in the comments section below! We'd love to see some new testers in the mix. Don't forget to email us your notes (about 100 words) to [email protected] by next Tuesday at 5pm.

We'll collect your comments, decide the official list of Editors' Picks and publish your evaluation in the headnote if the recipe is selected as an Editors' Pick (with credit, of course!). And even if the recipe you test isn't chosen as an Editors' Pick, please feel free to leave your testing notes in the recipe's comments section. Constructive criticism is always encouraged!

I'm putting Za'atar on everything these days, so I'll take the za'atar salmon and eggplant, please!

Food52 May 21, 2010
Thanks to everyone who has offered to do double testing. We'll give new folks till the end of the day to claim recipes -- otherwise they're all yours!

The "reply to this" features on the editor's comment about more dishes in need of testing seems to be malfunctioning -- at least with my connection -- so I am responding here.

Black beans and salmon are two of my 9-year-old's favorite things so I can test the Grilled Salmon with Black Beans in addition to the salmon cakes.

monkeymom May 21, 2010
I'd like to try Triple Citrus Caesar please. Congrats to the Editor picks as well, they look great!

dymnyno May 21, 2010
AntoniaJames, I will test Caesar and the Goddess if you want to try something else?

AntoniaJames May 21, 2010
Okay, great. I'll make the Chicken Caesar Salad with Anchovy-Caesar Vinaigrette etc. ;o)

Food52 May 21, 2010
UPDATE: The following 6 recipes are still up for grabs: Lemon Cream Roast Salmon with Whipped Parsnips; Grilled Salmon with Black Beans; Za'atar Scented Salmon and Eggplant; Triple Citrus Caesar; Chicken Caesar Salad with Anchovy-Caesar Vinaigrette and Garlic-Parmesan Croutons; Pseudo-Psaesar Salad with Avocado and Herbs

AntoniaJames May 21, 2010
I'd be happy to test any of these, if someone else would like to try Caesar and the Goddess . . . or, I'd gladly test both. ;o)
