Editors' Picks -- Week 49
Any food52 member is welcome to help us test our Editors' Pick candidates, so go call dibs on the recipe you'd like to test in the comments section below! We'd love to see some new testers in the mix. Don't forget to email us your notes (about 100 words) to editors@food52.com by next Tuesday at 5pm.
We'll collect your comments, decide the official list of Editors' Picks and publish your evaluation in the headnote if the recipe is selected as an Editors' Pick (with credit, of course!). And even if the recipe you test isn't chosen as an Editors' Pick, please feel free to leave your testing notes in the recipe's comments section. Constructive criticism is always encouraged!

I can pick up the Harvest Minestrone with Herb Lemon Pesto if you need me to take on a second recipe. Just let me know ASAP as I'll need to take care of that soon. Thanks.

(I'm dying to try the Shades of Green but can't find lovage, anywhere, in the East Bay. . . at least not in any market, or even in any nursery . . . . I'm looking for seeds locally available, at the moment. I couldn't test that recipe officially for EP honors anyway, as Sallycan is my sister, so I know I'm going to love it, even before I taste it. ;o) . . . )

I can get some lovage and will happily make the Shades of Green Soupe, if needed!
