Today, we're showing you how to make our three olive-oil based sauces: pesto, salsa verde, and chimichurri.

Because our three favorite sauces -- pestosalsa verde, and chimichurri -- are just different variations of those three ingredients: ingredients that you probably have on hand, right now. And with some pounding, whirring, or chopping, you can have a sauce to use on meat, fish, vegetables, and salads -- in seconds.

Watch our editors Brette, Kenzi, and Marian make the three easiest sauces out there: classic pesto, with garlic, basil, pine nuts, and parmesan; salsa verde, with parsley, capers, anchovy, garlic, onion, vinegar, and chile; and chimichurri, with cilantro, parsley, oregano, garlic, vinegar, shallot, and chile.
