Put a Filter on It: Dark, Leafy Greens

January 17, 2014

It's no secret -- we love a good 'gram. Here, we'll be posting our favorite Instagrams from the food world, on a different theme each week. Today, we ask the question: What's dark and green and leafy all over?

Fashions may come and go, but there's one color that will never go out of style: green. Kale has swept the nation (and is making headway overseas); spinach is highly endorsed by America's favorite sailor; and turnip greens are showing up in frittatas instead of the compost pile. Greens aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

That's why we've teamed up with our friends at goop to host a recipe contest all about dark, leafy greens. Create your favorite dish with greens to submit to our contest, then take a photo and share it on Instagram by tagging it with #food52xgoop.

We want your 'grams! Follow us, then Instagram your greens with #food52xgoop -- we'll repost our favorites.

I used to work at Food52. I'm probably the person who picked all of the cookie dough out of the cookie dough ice cream.
