Can you reuse taco oil for frying shells again? How many times can you reuse it?

If you are using an oil with a high smoking point you can fry many (couple dozen) shells in one pot of oil. If you are in doubt about when to change it, taste a cooked shell. You shouldn't taste the oil. If the level of oil gets low, that would be a good time to change it.
