Where can find the Puy lentils asked for in the Mujaddara recipe! Can't find them anywhere. I live in Maryland/Wash DC Metro area.

Whole foods is the only place I've fond them..try the rockville store

At Whole Foods you might find them labeled "French Green Lentils." In any case, even if those are Puy lentils grown in US, they will work.

You can use common green/brown lentils, check cooking time.

Check the bulk bins at Whole Foods - they are a mottled grey-green color.
