A question about a recipe: Tako Poke

Missingingredient:
After shopping at an Asian market, I found an unfamiliar item in my bag... a package of steamed tako. I searched for a recipe and your stunning photo convinced me to give it a try! As the package states 'steamed', would that mean I can skip the grilling step?

I'm thinking yes. I've made gingerroot's quick tako poke (which calls for pre-cooked octopus) and it worked well.
