A question about a recipe: Baked Surprise Bread

I have a question about step 2 on the recipe "Baked Surprise Bread" from Maria Teresa Jorge. It says:
"Crumble the fresh yeats in a bowl and dilute with a bit of milk. When well diluted add the remaining milk."

How can I make this with dried yeast?

Kt4, I have updated the recipe to use dry yeast. I have also modified the instructions to use dry yeast.
