I love my Omega juicer: http://www.omegajuicers...
Acme has been the standard for years. It's a centrifugal juicer.

Jack Lalanne is good. I may have misspelled his name.
Check out a Vita-Mix, you will have all the nutrition of the pulp. Nothing to throw away. Love mine!
Barbara is a trusted source on General Cooking.
added over 1 year agoWe have a Breville and it's a great juicer, but we bought it 3 years ago when my husband was juicing while getting ready for major surgery. Haven't used it much since. I kind of wish I had bought a Vita-Mix instead.
Here's a link to the Breville at William Sonoma:

I bought a vita-mix and returned it. t aerated everying, it remained aerated, and for me, that was unpleasant to try and drink. I understand theat the blend-tec may aerate less. I haven't tried it. Decided that most of the time I prefer to eat, not drink, my food.

The issue for me with the Vitamix is -- do you want juice or do you want puree? I owned a Vitamix for a while, and found that other equipment did a better job of what I wanted it to do.
To continue the Vita-Mix dialogue, what I love about mine is there is absolutely no waste so you are receiving all the nutrients. And when I want a thinner substance I just add water.
