I love Bulleit. It's small batch, so I don't know how available it is. Our favorite bartender swears by Old Overholt.

added about 1 year agoI've used the Bulleit Rye and Woodford Reserve non-rye whiskey for this drink. Both work well, and we actually preferred the Woodford.
