What is the fastest/safest way to defrost a pizza dough in a pinch? II usually do it overnight in the fridge but totally forgot!)

The safest way to defrost anything (after the fridge) is to put it in a watertight container and then in a basin of cold water. Great fast way to defrost anything. Keep checking it until it is thawed.
