Mason jars

Try soaking in hot soapy water for about hour or so. Repeat if necessary. That seems to help remove a lot of jar odors for me.

I hear you ! Even when I put through the dishwasher, the smell still lingered! However, I have found great success with good old fashioned baking soda. Don't spare it. Only add about 1 tsp of water, enough to make a paste and leave it there for a while with the lid on. Hope this helps.
