Is there a rule of thumb as to how cake recipes can be converted to cupcakes as far as time and temperature go? Thanks!

You can leave the baking temp the same, probably 350, right? Time will be shorter because of the lesser mass of cupcakes compared to a cake. Start with 15 - 17 minutes, and add more in 5-minute increments as needed.
Keep the temp the same. Cupcakes generally take about 20 mins to bake. Use a cake tester to check for doneness. Good luck!
