Hi there! Can you tell me how to substitute dried figs for fresh ones in this recipe? Thanks!

Chop the dried figs and soak in warm water until they soften. Drain and use like fresh.
A bit of rum would not hurt.

I would soak your figs in boiling water for 20-30 minutes to plump them up, then continue on with the recipe!
