added 11 months agoBrisket taste best if cooked for a long time 2 1/2-3 hours. Not a great dish to try in the hot summer. I like to roast mine with a mix of savory and sweet ingredients -- canned whole tomatoes, onions, carrots and a mix of dried fruit like dates, prunes and apricots
