Cleaning the oven?

While we are on the subject of cleaning things perhaps the oven can be discussed. We just moved and prior to moving I noticed I had failed to clean our old oven for 2 YEARS. Let me add we roast A LOT of chickens. 3 days, a whole heck of a lot of chemicals and some serious elbow grease later it was acceptable. But, wow, what a mess. Your thoughts?
